Sweet and Sour Veggie/Fruit Noodle Salad

 

 

Ingredients needed : Piccolo's Porridge, Squirt's Sweet

Potato Surprise, can of chunk pineapple, hot salsa,

pineapple juice, water.

Salad ingredients: cabbage, broccoli, celery, jicama,

mangoes, apples, cactus leaves, oranges.

Raw apple cider vinegar. Vegetable rotini noodles or

plain spaghetti noodles.

 

Combine 1 cup Porridge, with 2 cups Surprise. Cook in

juice from chunk pineapple, (reserve pineapple chunks)

1 cup juice, 1 cup HOT salsa, and 5 cups of water.

Bring to boil, reduce to simmer, cover.

 

Make salad: Shred cabbage into fine slaw. Chop brocolli,

celery, jicama,and apples very small. Julienne cactus

leaves and chop into small dice, peel orange and slice

each section in half. Chop mango, reserving pit for

a large pink cockatoo. Toss altogether, add 1/4 cup of

ACV and toss aain. (please be aware, this is for 48 birds.

those with more, or less will have to adjust, of course.)

Into the cooked porridges, after about 30 minutes,

turn it off and stir in 3 cups of noodles, or broken spaghetti.

This is folded into the salad, after all the extra juice has

been absorbed by the noodles.

Serve..topped with a few frozen peas, sesame seeds, and a

breadstick.
